Grey's work focuses on making artwork that comes from raw emotion and vulnerability. Mental Health, connection and forgiveness are common themes you will find amongst Grey's work. Creating is his outlet to battle his depression and anxiety. It's a release to process, to connect, to silence the inner critic. Creating is the way Grey can allow light into the darkest parts and see the good that can exist in the world. Painting is a very emotion led practise for Grey. It is where all the pent up feelings inside have a place to be explored. Grey often describes this as "attacking a canvas". What comes out, may speak to you.
